Residence in Shital Niwas
Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai called on President Dr Ram Baran Yadav
at the latter’s residence in Shital Niwas on Sunday morning.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Bhattarai informed President Yadav about the discussions held late night Saturday.
It has been reported that the president expressed his firm belief that the political parties will forge consensus in the disputed issues within tonight.
According to sources, the president also expressed his concern about the future of the Constituent Assembly and problems that may surface in the coming days.
In response, PM Bhattarai said maximum efforts have been made to forge consensus at the earliest and accused the Nepali Congress and the CPN-UML for the continuous failure.
Following the meeting with the president, PM Bhattarai left for Lazimpat to meet UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
