Ready with his first solo hero movie Ferrari Ki Sawaari, Sharman
Joshi says he's not in the industry to prove anything to anybody and is
looking at being part of quality cinema with an oeuvre of 10 great
films. "I am not here to prove anything to anyone except for myself. I
want to be part of
great cinema. I want to be part of minimum 10 great films in my career as an actor. I think Ferrari Ki Sawaari is going to be one of those," Sharman told IANS in an interview.
The actor, who has been part of ensemble cast in successful films
like Golmaal and 3 Idiots, believes he is here to play a long innings.
"I am here for the long run, not a short run - 30-40 years is the
minimum you should expect out of me. Don't worry there is plenty more to
see from me. You will possibly get tired of seeing me for the next
30-40 years." Filmmakers are experimenting a lot, he said, adding that
audiences were smart and their capability to deal with something new
shouldn't be doubted.
"The audiences today are very quick and smart. Just by seeing promotion on television, they know what films they have to see. I never had any doubt about them being prepared for such films. Those are the fears in the mind of the filmmaker." "I think audiences are extremely mature. They are ready to give you love and respect for any genre if you make a film with a lot of conviction, love and faith. If at any point any film has failed, it's not because the audience has not got it, it is due to lack of good storytelling," he added.
In the industry for almost a decade and with more than a dozen films in his kitty, the actor says that he has dabbled in everything, from comedy to serious roles, and has managed "to keep his journey interesting for himself". "Sometimes the films don't work well, no matter how hard you try. Sometimes you don't get it right. But in an effort to keep it exciting and away from the usual, I am in no hurry to make the audiences believe that I am capable of something.
"I am going to take my time. Do the genres and characters I like to do, but at the same time, it has to be with the right script," he added. Asked if he was excited or nervous about Ferrari Ki Sawaari, Sharman said it was a mixed feeling. "I am very sad. I am almost going into a depression now because my wonderful film and its journey is coming to an end. The film is going to be out for the people now on the 15th of June; so I am very happy and pleased about it."
Ferrari Ki Sawaari, directed by debutant Rajesh Mapuskar, is about a father's determination to fulfil his son's wish, also stars Boman Irani. After Ferrari Ki Sawaari, Sharman will start working for Tanuja Chandra's directorial project. Just like Ferrari..., this one will also be produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. The film's working title is said to be Chitthiya and is supposedly based on a love triangle.

The IIFA Rocks night saw a perfect blend of fashion and music with star-studded performances and ramp shows adding a dash of glamour to it. क्याम्पसमा श्रद्धाञ्जली सभा, साँझ ५ बजे कोटेश्वरमा प्रधानमन्त्रीको
पुत्ला दहन, ३० गते देशव्यापी अनशन -काठमाडौंको शान्ति बाटिकामा), ३१ गते
विहान अधिराज्यभर हस्ताक्षर अभियान, साँझ ५ बजे बानेश्वर चौकबाट नाङ्गो
जुलुस, ३२ गते विहान ९बजे चक्का जाम ल क्याम्पसमा प्रधानमन्त्रीको पुत्ला
दहन, साझ ४ बजे पेन्टिङ र हाँस्यव्यग्य र अषाढ १ गते साँझ ५ बजे पाटनमा
कोणसभाको कार्यक्रम सार्वजनिक गरेको छ ।
नेकपा एमालेले एकीकृत नेकपा माओवादी
एमालेको विद्यार्थी संगठन अनेरास्ववियुले नयाँ बजार गोलीकाण्डमा पक्राउ
परेका दुवै कार्यकर्तालाई साधारण सदस्यबाट समेत निलम्बन गरेको छ।
विज्ञप्तिमा घटनाका मुख्य अभियुक्त मनोज खत्रीलाई तत्काल पक्राउ गरी
हदैसम्मको कारबाही गर्न माग गरेको छ। गोली प्रहार गर्ने खत्री फरार छन्।

प्रहरीले काठमाडौंको चाल्नाखेलबाट हाल सम्मकै ठूलो परिमाणमा लागू औषध बरामद गरेको छ ।लागू औषधसँगै प्रहरीले सो कारोबारमा संलग्न पाँच जनालाई पनि नियन्त्रणमा लिएको छ । लागू औषध नियन्त्रण कानून कार्यान्वयन इकाई नयाँबानेश्वरबाट खटिएको अप्रेशन समूहले लागू औषध चरेश (चिप्पड) २ हजार ६ सय ४० किलोग्राम सहित ५ जनालाई पक्राउ गरेको जनाएको छ ।
पक्राउ पर्नेहरुमा मकवानपुर जिल्ला सरिखेत पलासे–२ घर बताउने २९ बर्षीय हस्त बहादुर रुम्बा, २१ बर्षीय चन्द्र बहादुर गोले, सोही गाविस–७ घर बताउने २८ बर्षीय कुमार लामा, मकवानपुर जिल्ला मनहरी–५ घर बताउने २९ बर्षीय तिर्थ बहादुर राई र सोही गाविस–३ घर बताउने २२ बर्षीय बीरे लामा रहेका छन् ।
उनीहरुलाई प्रहरीले सेतीदेवी गाविस–९ चाल्नाखेलबाट ८८ वटा सेतो प्लाष्टिकको बोरा भित्र प्याकिङ गरी लुकाई छिपाई राखेको अवस्थामा उक्त चरेश (चिप्पड) सहित फेला पारेको थियो ।
बरामद अवैध लागू औषध चरेश (चिप्पड) हाल सम्म पक्राउ परेको चरेशहरु मध्ये कै सवैभन्दा ठूलो परिमाण भएको प्रहरीले जनाएको छ ।
पक्राउ परेका व्यक्तिहरु विगत लामो समयदेखि लागू औषध कारोवारमा संलग्न रहेको भन्दै प्रहरीले उनीहरुले स्थलमार्ग हुँदै भारत लगायत अन्य मुलुकहरुमा कारोवार गर्ने गरेको जनाएको छ ।
उता, मकवानपुरको मनहरी–७, ज्यमिरेबाट प्रहरीले आजै ६० किलो गाँजा बरामद गरेको छ ।
गाँजा सहित डाँडाखर्क गाविस–४ बस्ने ४३ बर्षीय गौरीशंकर मोक्तान, ३३ बर्षीय ईन्द्रबहादुर थिङ, ३० बर्षीय प्रताप सिंह थिङ र अक्कल बहादुर थिङलाई पक्राउ गरेको प्रहरीले जनाएको छ ।
"फेरी राजा आउछन कि क्याहो? तपाइलाई के लाग्छ ............?" आफुलाई राजाबादी दावी गर्ने कमल थापाहरुले नागार्जुनमा रहेका
ज्ञानेन्द्रलाई नारायणहिटीमा पुर्नस्थापना गर्ने बताइरहँदा पूर्व
राजाबादीहरु अनलाइनमा सक्रिय देखिएका छन् ।
राजाबादीहरुले चलाएका दुईवटा वेबसाइटले यतिखेर राजसंस्था पुर्नबहालीका पक्षमा माहौल बनाइरहेका छन् । नेपाल रोयल डटकम र नेपालको आवाज
नामक ब्लग साइटमा राजाबादीहरुले राजसंस्था पुर्नबहालीका लागि उपर्युक्त
अबसर रहेको मात्र बताएका छैनन, संबिधानसभा बिघटन गरेर माओवादीलाई परास्त
गर्न कांग्रेस एमाले सफल भएको समेत उद्घोष गरेका छन् ।
ससर्ती हेर्दा नेपाल रोयल डटकम राजपरिवारका सदस्यले चलाएको जस्तो देखिन्छ भने नेपालको आवाज नामक साइटमा ज्ञानेन्द्र साहकै नाममा अपडेट गरिएको छ । पूर्व राजाका कुन तहका सहयोगीहरुले चलाएका हुन भन्ने स्पष्ट नपारिएपनि राजाबादीहरुले अहिले यी दुई साइटलाई रिफरेन्स दिएर कुरा गर्न थालेका छन् ।
नेपाल रोयल नामक साइटमा पूर्व राज परिवारका सवै सदस्यलाई बहालवाला राजसंस्थाकै हैसियतमा महाराजधिराज, बडामहारानी, युवराज र नबयुवराज भनेर संवोधन गरिएको छ । पूर्व राजपरिवारका सदस्यको जीवनीदेखि हिमानी ट्रष्टका गतिबिधिसमेत समेटिएको साइटमा नेपालको राजसंस्था संक्रमणकालमा रहेको उल्लेख गरिएको छ । माओवादी नियन्त्रित संबिधानसभाले नेपाललाई गणतान्त्रिक मुलुक घोषणा गरेपनि धेरै नेपालीले राजतन्त्र भाग्य फैसला जनमतसंग्रहबाट हुनुपर्ने माग गरेको साइटमा उल्लेख छ ।

पुरुषहरुले कालो वर्णको भन्दा गोरो वर्णको छाला भएको योनी मन पराउँछन् भन्ने आशयको उक्त विज्ञापनले विवाद सिर्जना गरेको हो ।
यौनांग सफा गर्ने एक जेलको विज्ञापनमा यस्तो सामाग्री राखिएपछि त्यसको आलोचना भैरहेको छ ।
क्लिन एण्ड ड्राइ इन्टिमेट वास भनिएको उक्त प्रडक्टले योनीको छालाको रंग गोरो पार्ने र त्यस्तो योनी ब्वायप|mेन्डले मन पराउने विज्ञापनमा उल्लेख गरिएको छ ।
विज्ञापनमा एक पुरुषले अरु जेलले गुप्तांग धुने केटीलाई सुरुमा मन नपराएको र पछि सोही जेलले गुप्तांग धोएर गोरो पारेपछि उक्त पुरुषले मन पराएको देखाइएको छ ।
आलोचकहरुले यस्तो विज्ञापनले कालो वर्णका महिलाहरुको अपमान गरेको जिकिर गरेका छन् ।
पुरुषहरुले कालो वर्णको भन्दा गोरो वर्णको छाला भएको योनी मन पराउँछन् भन्ने आशयको उक्त विज्ञापनले विवाद सिर्जना गरेको हो ।

जुनसुकै अन्तराष्ट्रिय प्रतियोगितामा आफ्नो देशले बाजी मारोस् भन्ने
चाहना कसको हुँदैन र ? यद्यपि त्यस्तो चाहना व्यक्त गर्ने र आफ्नो देश वा
टीमको सपोर्ट गर्ने तरीका फरक फरक हुन्छ । कतिपयले आफ्नो देशका टोलीको
जर्सी लगाएर आफ्नो समर्थन जनाउँछन् र टीमलाई हौसाउँछन् । तर कोहीकोही पनि
आफ्नो देशको टीमलाई हौसाउन अजीब तरिका अपनाउँछन् ।यस्तै तरिका अपनाएकी छिन् जर्मनीकी एक मोडेलले । अहिले चलिरहेको युरोकप आफ्नो देशको जितोस् भन्ने कामनाका साथ जर्मन मोडेल माइकेला सेफरले निर्वस्त्र फोटोशूट गरेकी छिन् ।
चर्चित मोडेल माइकेलाले वक्षस्थलमा फुटबल जस्तै रंग तथा यौनांगमा राष्ट्रिय झण्डाको रंग पोतेर कामुक फोटोशूट गरेकी हुन् ।
सायद देशप्रेम छचल्किएर तथा फुटबलको ज्वरोले थलिएर यी मोडेलले लगाएका कपडा फुकालेर ढाक्नुपर्ने अंगमा रंग पोतेकी होलिन् ।
बेलायतका दुइ महिलाले विश्वकै सबैभन्दा वृद्ध दिदीबहिनीको रुपमा गिनिज
बुकमा नाम लेखाएका छन् । बेलायतको क्याम्बि्रजसर र लिंकनसरमा बसोबास गर्ने
डर्थी रिचर्ड र मर्जोरी रडलले यस्तो किर्तिमानी कायम गरेका हुन् ।
नर्थ ह्याम्पटमा जन्मेका उनीहरु मध्ये डर्थी १ सय ८ र मर्जोरी १ सय ५ वर्षका छन् । यी दुइको उमेर जोड्दा २ सय १३ वर्ष ३ महिना भन्दा बढि हुन्छ । मर्जरीको जन्म १९०७ को २१ अपि्रलमा भएको थियो भने डर्थीको जन्म १९०३ को डिसेम्बर १५ मा भएको थियो । स्मरण रहोस् डर्थी जन्मिनु मात्र २ दिनअघि राइट दाजुभाइले विश्वको पहिलो हवाइजहा उडाएका थिए ।

The U.N. said several weeks ago that at least 9,000 people have been killed since the crisis began while Syrian activists say the violence has claimed the lives of more than 13,000 people.

North Korea said Saturday it has no plans "at present" to conduct a
nuclear test despite what it called South Korean attempts to provoke the
situation.
Seoul's government was trying to aggravate the situation through "uninterrupted provocations" against the North, a foreign ministry spokesman said in a statement carried by Pyongyang's official news agency.
"Through those provocations the group (government) seeks to rattle the
nerves of the DPRK (North Korea) in a bid to cause it to conduct a
nuclear test, though such a thing is not under plan at present..." the
spokesman said.
There has been widespread international speculation that the North will stage its third atomic weapons test, after the United Nations Security Council censured its failed rocket launch in April and tightened sanctions.
The North responded with nuclear tests in 2006 and 2009 after the UN imposed sanctions against its rocket launches.
Satellite photos in April showed work under way at its atomic test site but gave no indication of whether or when a test would be staged.
The statement also accused the South's conservative government led by President Lee Myung-Bak of trying to incite a border incident similar to the North's deadly shelling of a South Korean border island in November 2010.
It said the aim was to hype Pyongyang's "belligerent nature" in an attempt to "create an atmosphere of putting pressure and sanctions on it".
The North for months has heaped vitriol on Lee and his government, referring to them as "rats" and "human scum" and calling for their death.

Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal Chairman Kamal Thapa claimed that monarchy would be resurrected after the upcoming election.
Claiming that a major mass has shifted towards monarchy after the
parties failed to promulgate constitution following the dissolution of
Constituent Assembly, Thapa said that the upcoming election would
shatter all the illusions.
Speaking with Radio Kantipur, RPP-N Chairman Thapa said that the election would ruin the ego of the so-called most powerful parties as well.
Furthermore, Thapa claimed that the pro-integration forces would join hand for election to promulgate constitution, which would also incorporate monarchy.

The health of former Prime Minister and Chairman of Rastriya Janashakti
Party Surya Bahadur Thapa has improved on Sunday since he was taken to
hospital following a cardiac arrest.
Organising a press meet this morning, doctors involved in his treatment
informed that a pacemaker has been implanted in his heart and it has
started working. A pacemaker is a medical device that uses electrical
impulses, delivered by electrodes contacting the heart muscles, to
regulate the beating of the heart.
Thapa, 86, suffered a stroke while addressing a party meeting at Sano Gaucharan on Saturday morning. He was then rushed to Thapathali-based Norvic Hospital. After hours of Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation and the aid of pacemaker, Thapa was shifted to the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital.
Meanwhile, an Indian medical team has arrived at Norvic Hospital this morning to examine Thapa’s health condition.
Vice Chairman of party Prakash Chandra Lohani, Minister for Physical Planning and Works Hridayesh Tripathi, former Home Minister Bhim Rawal had reached the hospital to take a stock of Thapa’s health condition.

राष्ट्रिय मञ्चका अध्यक्ष लक्ष्मण थारु सहित नौ जना घाइते भएका छन् । ११
जना सवार रहेको जीप सतबरीया ९ अमिलीयमा पल्टिएको थियो । दुर्घटनामा परी
लक्ष्मण थारु सहित मिनराज चौधरी र गंगाधर चौधरी गम्भीर घाईते हुनुभएको छ ।
घाईतेहरुको कोहलपुर मेडिकल कलेजमा उपचार भईरहेको छ । यस्तै सोही जिपमा सवार भानुराम चौधरी,सोनु चौधरी,गोपाल दहित, महादेब चौधरी, नारायण चौधरी, स्वमती चौधरी लगायत सामान्य घाईते भएका हरुको दाङको स्थानिय मेडीकलमा उपचार भएको प्रहरीले जनाएको छ । कपीलबस्तुबाट नेपालगञ्ज तर्फ जाँदै गरेको भे १ च १२०८ नम्बरको निजी जिपको टाय्र पम्चड हुँदा अनियन्त्रित भई पल्टेको थियो ।

राष्ट्रिय प्रजातन्त्र पार्टी नेपालका अध्यक्ष कमल थापाले निर्वाचन पछि
राजतन्त्र पुनःस्थापना हुने दावी गरेका छन् । प्रमुख दलहरुको अक्षमताका
कारण निराश भएका जनताको ठूलो पंक्ति राजसंस्थाको पक्षमा उभिएको भन्दै उनले
निर्वाचनले सबैको भ्रम तोडने बताएका हुन् । आइतबार बिहान रेडियो कान्तिपुरसँग कुरा गर्दै अध्यक्ष थापाले निर्वाचलने ठूलो दलको दम्भ गर्नेलाई समेत सबक सिकाउने बताए ।
उनले राष्ट्रिय अखण्डताको पक्षमा उभिने सबै शक्तिसँग सहकार्य गर्दै राजसंस्थाको सहतिको नयाँ संविधान निर्माणको एजेण्डा सहित चुनावमा जाने उल्लेख गरे ।
संविधानसभा पुनःस्थापनाको विरोध गर्दै उनले केही दल चुनावमा जान डराएको टिप्पणी गरे ।
आइतबार बिहान अस्पतालमा चिकित्सकहरुले पत्रकार सम्मेलन गर्दै नेपाल र भारतका चिकितसकहरुले स्वास्थ्यमा सुधार भएको बताएका हुन् । शनिबार पेसमेकर जडान गरी उपचार गरिएका थापाको पेसमेकरले काम गर्न थालेको बताइएको छ ।
डाक्टरहरुले थापालाई ७२ घण्टासम्म आराम गर्न सल्लाह दिएका छन् ।थापाको उपाचारका लागि केही चिकित्सक समेत भारतबाट आइपुगेको छ ।
शनिबार पार्टी बैठकमा बोलिरहेकाबेला हृदयघात भई लडेका थापाको शनिबार दिनभर चेत खुलेको थिएन । उनका सहयोगी किरण गिरीका अनुसार आइतबार भने थापाले इसाराले बोलाउने र मान्छे चिन्ने गरेका छन् ।
८६ वर्षीय थापाको गम्भीर प्रकृतिको मुटुको समस्या देखिएपछि उपचारका लागि भारतीय चिकित्सा टोली आइतबार बिहान नै नर्भिक अस्पताल आएको छ ।
थापाको स्वास्थ्य अवस्था बुझ्न भौतिक योजना मन्त्री हृदयेष त्रिपाठी, पूर्व गृहमन्त्री भीम रावल, जनशक्ति पार्टीका सहअध्यक्ष प्रकाशचन्द्र लोहनीलगायत नर्भिक अस्पताल आएका छन् ।
निगमलाई एक अर्ब ४० करोड वनाउनका
लागि सरकारले नेपाल आयल निगमलाई एक अर्ब ४० करोड रुपैयाँ ऋण सहयोग दिएको छ
। आइतवार विहान प्रधानमन्त्री तथा मन्त्रिपरिषदको कार्यालय सिंहदरवारमा
बसेको पेट्रोलियम पदार्थको आपूर्ति सहज बनाउन सरकारले आयल निगमलाई एक अर्ब
४० करोड रुपैयाँ ऋण सहयोग दिने निर्णय गरेको हो ।
पेट्रोलियम पद्धार्थको सहज आपूर्तिका लागि
आयल निगमले तीन अर्ब रुपैयाँ मागेपछि सरकारले आधाभन्दा थोरै एक अर्ब ४०
करोड रुपैयाँ ऋण यिदने निर्णय गरेको सूचना तथा सञ्चारमन्त्री राजकिशोर
यादवले जानकारी दिनुभयो । आयल निगमले भारतीय आयल निगम आईओसी लाई तिर्नु
पर्ने बक्यौता ३ अर्ब २० करोड रुपैयाँ पुगेपछि आइओसीले तेल आपूर्ति गर्न
नसक्ने वताएको थियो ।
पेट्रोलियम पद्धार्थको सहज आपूर्तिका लागि
आयल निगमले तीन अर्ब रुपैयाँ मागेपछि सरकारले आधाभन्दा थोरै एक अर्ब ४०
करोड रुपैयाँ ऋण यिदने निर्णय गरेको सूचना तथा सञ्चारमन्त्री राजकिशोर
यादवले जानकारी दिनुभयो । आयल निगमले भारतीय आयल निगम आईओसी लाई तिर्नु
पर्ने बक्यौता ३ अर्ब २० करोड रुपैयाँ पुगेपछि आइओसीले तेल आपूर्ति गर्न
नसक्ने वताएको थियो ।
यसैवीच नेपाल आयल निगमले ऋण तिर्ने
प्रतिबद्धता जनाएपछि हिजोदेखिनै पेट्रोलियम पदार्थको लोड हुन थालेको आयल
निगमले जनाएको छ । आयल निगमले आजैदेखि पेट्रोलियम पदार्थ सहज हुने जनाएको छ
। साँझ सम्ममा रक्सौलबाट चार लाख लिटर डिजेल र सोही परिमाणको पेट्रोल आउने
भएकाले आपूर्ति सहज हुने कायम मुकायम निर्देशक सुरेश अग्रवालले बताउनुभयो ।
बक्यौता तिर्न उसले नागरिक लगानीकोषसँग १
अर्ब र कर्मचारी सञ्चयकोषसँग ६० करोड रुपैया ऋण लिन लागेको छ । डिजेल र
खाना पकाउने ग्याँसमा सरकारले दिएको अनुदानका कारण गिनमलाई अहिले मासिक ७०
करोड ४२ लाख घाटा छ ।
