Rakhi Sawant doesn't
seem to stop harping about how she's the original item girl. In fact,
not too long ago, Rakhi even took a dig at Malaika Arora Khan and Katrina Kaif about them doing item numbers.
But while Rakhi believes that Malaika and Katrina can't sizzle like she does, the item girl secretly seems to be aping Malaika. Or why else would she ask one of Malaika's costume designers to design the exact same thing for her too? When fashion designer Ashley Rebello, who designed for Malaika in Dabangg, when asked about Rakhi Sawant, he said, "It is better we don't talk about her. Every time I design something for Malaika Arora-Khan, the next day Rakhi calls me and asks me to design the same thing for her." Wonder what Rakhi has to say to this.

Television actor Sushant Singh Rajput seems to have benefitted from the fallout between Farhan Akhtar and filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor. Farhan and Abhishek worked together for their 2008 release, Rock On!!,
but if rumours are to be believed, Abhishek waited for Farhan's dates
for his next, Kai Po Che! for two years, after which the filmmaker had to rope in an all new cast and production house.
The episode worked in Sushant's favour because he auditioned for the
role originally meant for Farhan and immediately bagged it. For this
film, he even let go of offers from big banners, says a source. The
insider confirms, "He had to sign a three-film contract with the current
production house. This role really excited him." The film, based on
Chetan Bhagat's novel Three Mistakes of my Life, stars Sushant, Amit Sadh and Raj Kumar Yadav (of Ragini MMS fame)
along with Amrita Puri (of Blood Money). The cast and crew have wrapped
up their schedule in Ahmedabad and are headed to Hyderabad.
Interestingly, they shot at Ahmedabad's Sabarmati grounds where Daniel
Craig's latest James Bond movie, Skyfall, was scheduled to be shot but they couldn't secure permission. "The
ground is very sacred as it is related to Mahatma Gandhi. We feel that
this is the reason why the Bond team was denied permission to shoot
there," says a source from the film unit. The shooting of KPC
was stalled for a while in Ahmedabad because of the extreme heat.
Incidentally, both Sushant and Amit had to be hospitalised and the
shooting resumed only after the duo was fit to face the camera again.
The scenes were shot at real locations without any sets being created. One of Amit's close friends
reveals that when Amit bagged this role, he was just recovering from
his break-up with Neeru Bajwa. "But he is a happy man now. He had spent
years to build Neeru's career and now that she has broken up with him,
he wants to concentrate on his career."

The United States expressed alarm that its protégés in the Egyptian
army were abusing hopes for democracy by ordering more military rule
just as the Muslim Brotherhood was claiming victory in the country's
first free presidential election.
The Islamists' self-assurance was contested by the other candidate in the run-off race, a former general who was prime minister when Hosni Mubarak was ousted last year by an army anxious to save itself from the revolution in the streets.
But there was still no result from the two-day poll, although independent officials privately spoke of a likely win for Islamist Mohamed Morsy over military man Ahmed Shafik.
Yet whatever the outcome - and one electoral supervisor said it might not be announced until Thursday - the new president was shorn in advance of much of his power by a decree issued by the ruling Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF) just as polling stations closed and two days after it had dissolved a new, Islamist-led parliament.
In protest, the liberal urban youth movements which were in the vanguard of protests at Cairo's Tahrir Square 16 months ago, as well as the Brotherhood and other supporters of the uprising, plan a major demonstration there later on Tuesday.
"This decree just makes plain the hegemony of SCAF," said Khaled Ali, a liberal lawyer eliminated in the first round of voting. "This decree strips the president of the powers he was elected to have and gives those to the military council."
The constitutional declaration, one more twist in Egypt's halting progress toward democracy since the Arab Spring, effectively means that a July 1 deadline promised for a handover to civilian rule has been reduced to semantics, since the new civilian president looks to be very close to powerless.
Liberals and Islamists called it a "military coup".

U.S. President Barack Obama and Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed
on Monday that the violence in Syria must stop but gave no sign of
agreeing on how to do it even as Syrian security forces pounded
opposition areas across the country.
Intense artillery fire was reported in Douma, a town 15 km (9 miles) outside the Syrian capital Damascus that for weeks has been under the partial control of rebels who have joined the 15-month-old revolt against President Bashar al-Assad.
At least 79 people were killed in violence that has escalated since international observers suspended their mission, activists said.
A Russian naval source said Moscow was preparing to send marines to Syria in the event it needed to protect personnel and remove equipment from its naval facility in Syria's Mediterranean port of Tartous, according to the Interfax news agency.
Russia is one of the Syrian government's staunchest backers.
International efforts to halt the violence are deadlocked because Russia and China, which wield vetoes in the U.N. Security Council, have blocked tougher action against Assad. They say the solution must come through political dialogue, an approach most of the Syrian opposition rejects.
Obama and Putin held two hours of talks - longer than originally planned - at a Group of 20 summit in Mexico after a week of Cold War-style recriminations between U.S. and Russian diplomats over Syria. Putin frowned and Obama wore a sober expression during remarks to reporters after the meeting.
"We agreed that we need to see a cessation of the violence, that a political process has to be created to prevent civil war," Obama told reporters.
"From my point of view, we have found many common points on this issue" of Syria, Putin said, adding the two sides would continue discussions.
Obama said they pledged to "work with other international actors," including U.N./Arab League envoy Kofi Annan, to find a resolution.

The newly formed Communist of Party of Nepal-Maoist has said that the
party's ultimate strategy is to establish "People's Republic" through "a
people's war or revolt" while tactical demands are roundtable
conference and formation of interim government.
Though the faction aims to "overthrow" the current regime to establish what it calls a people's regime, it has said roundtable conference is the only option left with the parties to end the existing political impasse.
Speaking at a press conference in the Capital to make formal announcement about the new party, party Chairman Mohan Baidya said formation of a new party was essential to continue the aspirations of "people's war" that began in 1996.
The party has also decided to revive the parallel government, base areas and armies of Maoist party, which was automatically dissolved after the signing of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement in 2006. Baidya said that pro-federal forces will practice a parallel government at the grassroots level.
The three-day conclave of the hard-line faction of the Maoist party on Monday decided to form a new party accusing Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Baburam Bhattarai of being "neo-reformists" and "opportunists." Baidya believes while CPN-UML is reformist in that it has given up all communist ideals, Dahal and Bhattarai are neo-reformists as they went one step ahead in compromising with the core communist principles.
In the press conference, which was crowded by journalists, supporters and cadres, Baidya spent most of his time criticizing Dahal and Bhattarai. He even claimed that the two leaders worked at the behest of expansionist forces.
"Dahal and Bhattarai disarmed the combatants without bringing the new constitution and without carrying out integration in a dignified manner," Baidya said.
As the government has announced a date for next CA elections, Baidya said there is no meaning of the CA, as it cannot draft a constitution.
The faction has indicated that it will boycott the constitution-drafting process through the CA either from revival or fresh election.
Ruling out the possibility of party unity with the UCPN (Maoist) led by Dahal in the near future, Baidya said Dahal and Bhattarai could join the new party if they corrected their mistakes and transformed themselves.
He also urged the revolutionary forces in the establishment camp to join his party. He added that formation of a new communist party was the beginning of a new chapter in the country. "Neither a coalition of the Nepali Congress and the CPN-UML nor of "neo-reformists" (Dahal and Bhattarai) can steer the nation forward. Both coalitions want power. So we are the third force in the country to give an outlet to the country," he said

Indian analysts who have been closely watching the communist movement
in Nepal have described the recent division in the UCPN Maoist as an
"unfortunate incident". They have cautioned the splinter faction, which
formed a new party on Monday under Mohan Baidya, that the path it has
taken does not have "any future".
"Though Baidya is ideologically honest, the path he has taken is not a pragmatic one," said senior Indian journalist and a Maoist sympathiser Anand Swarup Verma.
"Attempts of revolution without taking cognizance of the current regional and international dynamics will be suicidal," he added.
In view of Professor SD Muni, the estranged Baidya group is capable of creating difficulties for its mother party and the whole political process only in the short run.
"But in the long run, he [Baidya] will go into oblivion," Muni tweeted. "He may become another Mohan Bikram [Singh]."
Professor of International Relations at Jawaharlal Nehru University Kamal Mitra Chenoy observed the split as a serious matter, quickly adding, however, that there is no possibility for the Baidya group of re-embracing a war.
He told the Post that Indian Maoists, who are critical of Pushpa Kamal Dahal for taking the path of peace and constitution, would probably be elated because "the revolutionary line still exists in Nepal with Baidya forming a new party".
Rights activist and another noted analyst who keeps tabs on Nepal's communist movement, Gautam Naulakha begged to differ. He termed the split in the Maoist party as a positive turn of events.
"The real issue is what kind of strategy political forces should adopt to bring transformation in Nepal. But Prachanda and Baburam moved on the path of compromise," Naulakha said.
