Bollywood movie Rowdy Rathore

                The movie Rowdy Rathore, an action thriller from Bollywood, is soon to be released. The director of the film is Prabhu Deva and the producers are Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Ronnie Screwvala. Akshay Kumar plays a double roll in the film, and stands as the lead character opposite to the lead actress Sonakshi Sinha in this film. The film is supposed to be released on June 1, 2012. This is a remake of the super hit Telugu movie Vikramarkudu.
The trailer of the movie was first released in Worli, Mumbai on 2nd April, 2012 in an open stadium. Much emphasis was given on the promotion of the movie. UTV organised a contest named "Rowdy Hunt". Moreover, Sonakshi Sinha promoted the yet to be released flick on 92.7 Big FM and she also came to Dance India Dance Lil' masters episode of 26th May for the same. The music in the movie has been composed by Sajid-Wajid. The audio of the movie was released on April 25th, 2012. Some lines of the song “China Ta Chita Chita” has been adopted from the original Telugu version, and was approved by Wajid. The other singers who have sung for the film are Ajay Mondal, Kumar Sanu, Chandan Sharman and Sonu Saxena.
The movie started its shoot on August 10, 2011. Akshay Kumar is known to be happy and content with the character of an action hero in the movie since his son loves to watch him in such macho characters. The movie is Sanjay Leela Bhansali's first sole production and the first one in action film genre.

The movie is already reported to have earned around Rs. 35 crores through satellite rights even before it is released
