ANNFSU activist injured shootout
An activist of All Nepal National Free Students Union (ANNFSU) has been
critically injured in a shoot-out at Nayabazar in the Capital on Friday
morning.
The injured has been identified as Basanta Shahi of Kailali, Dhangadi. He is undergoing treatment at the Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj.
Shahi is Amrit Science College, ANNFSU’s, Primary Committee Vice Chairman.
He has sustained two bullets in his body, police informed. The shoot-out took place at around 8.30 this morning.
The police have been investigating the incident.
Meanwhile, ANNFSU has said that the incident might have taken place due to the internal conflict within the union.
