Actor Shahid Kapoor has denied reports that he is starring in Wanted sequel supposedly being planned by choreographer-director Prabhu Deva."I don't think anyone can replace Salman Khan. I think because me and Prabhu Sir have been meeting up to do a film together and he is choreographing IIFA ( International Indian Film Academy awards) ...people are jumping to conclusions," the 31-year-old said.
"We have not decided anything yet, what we will do or when. But yes, we are very keen to work with each other. But these are all rumours, I have not said yes to anything," he added.

The earthquake struck at 10:22am (0222 GMT) at a depth of 38.7 kilometres (24 miles), about 47 kilometres east of Tangshan city -- site of one of China's worst ever earthquakes, which killed an estimated 242,000 people in 1976.
The Chinese government gauged Monday's earthquake at a slightly stronger 4.8 magnitude, according to a statement by the China Earthquake Network Centre.
There were no immediate reports of damage or casualties.
Two men engulfed themselves in towering flames outside a temple that is a popular tourist site in Lhasa, marking the first time a recent wave of self-immolations to protest Chinese rule has reached the tightly guarded Tibetan capital, two U.S. broadcasters reported Monday.

said in a statement that the men were taken away by authorities within
minutes of setting themselves on fire Sunday outside the Jokhang Temple.
There have been at least 34 immolations since March of last year to
draw attention to China's restrictions on Buddhism and to call for the
return from exile of the Tibetan spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama. Most have taken place in heavily Tibetan areas of China, but only one had occurred in Tibet itself and none in the capital.
Protests have become rare in remote Tibet and Lhasa in particular
because of tight police security that has blanketed the area since
anti-government riots erupted in Lhasa in 2008.
Radio Free Asia cited a Tibetan living in exile as saying he had heard
from others inside Tibet that huge flames had engulfed the two men and
that they were believed to be seriously hurt or dead.
RFA said the men in Sunday's protest were believed to be monks but
their identities and personal details were not immediately available.
U.S.-funded radio broadcaster Voice of America reported that the two
men worked at a Lhasa restaurant called Nyima Ling. It identified one of
the men as 19-year-old Dorjee Tseten but was unable to give the name or
age of the other.
A woman with the Lhasa city police denied any immolation attempts had
occurred. Like many Chinese bureaucrats, she refused to give her name.
Fu Jun, an official with the propaganda department of the Tibetan
regional Communist Party office, said he was unaware of any immolations.
Radio Free Asia said Lhasa was under heavy police and paramilitary guard and that the situation was very tense.
Chinese authorities have confirmed some of the self-immolations over the past year but not all.
India's prime minister held talks with Myanmar's
president Monday in a historic visit aimed at boosting trade and energy
links and contesting the influence of regional rival China.
Manmohan Singh, the first Indian premier to visit Myanmar in a quarter of a century, was greeted with a guard of honour as he met President Thein Sein in the capital Naypyidaw.
Energy-hungry India is eyeing a raft of agreements with its neighbour after dramatic reforms in Myanmar ended its international isolation.
Singh will travel to the main city of Yangon for talks with opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi on Tuesday, in a move seen as a sign that India also wants to repair links with the veteran activist.India has since pointed to recent dramatic reforms under a new quasi-civilian regime, including Suu Kyi's election to parliament in April by-elections, as a validation of its stance.
Singh is the latest in a series of top-level visitors to Myanmar as the international community begins easing sanctions, raising hopes that the impoverished nation could be the next big frontier market.
An Indian diplomat who declined to be named told AFP that about 12 agreements were set to be inked during the talks on Monday.
Singh is seen as looking to expand India's influence after half a century of military rule left Myanmar heavily reliant on Chinese investment and political support.
Indian-backed infrastructure projects in the country include a port at Sittwe on the Bay of Bengal but New Delhi's presence lags well behind that of Beijing, which is behind a host of major energy developments.
"India does seem to have been rather slothful in its response to Myanmar's reforms compared to the enthusiasm shown by many other world leaders," said Rajiv Biswas, Asia-Pacific Chief Economist at IHS Global Insight.
He said Myanmar was in the grips of a "gold rush", and that oil and gas are an area of "considerable opportunity" for investors.
According to data from IHS, China led the ranking in investments in Myanmar last year, pledging $8.3 billion, with India trailing in 13th place, with $189 million pledged.
Indian trade with Myanmar stood at $1.2 billion in 2010, far short of the $4.4 billion between China and Myanmar.
Singh, who is travelling with a top-level business delegation, stressed the countries' "shared history and culture" in a statement ahead of the visit.
Myanmar, formerly known as Burma, was administered as a province of India during British colonial rule and the two countries have religious links dating back to the early spread of Buddhism more than 2,000 years ago.

The inquiry, ordered by Prime Minister David Cameron after Murdoch's now defunct News of the World tabloid admitted hacking phones, has tarnished Britain's elite by laying bare the collusion between politicians, the police and the media.
Blair kicks off an important week at the Leveson inquiry by answering questions about his often obsessive media management which included courting Murdoch.
The inquiry has so far focused on the conduct of the media and the close ties between Murdoch's empire and serving ministers, helping the opposition Labour Party leader Ed Miliband consolidate his position with attacks on Cameron.
But the grilling of Blair, who recast the relationship between the
media and politicians by "spinning" news to gain the most favorable
coverage, could undermine Miliband's attempt to portray Labour as a
party above courting media tycoons.
While Blair is no longer active in British politics, the inquiry may still prove uncomfortable as it examines issues such as his decision after stepping down as prime minister to become a godfather to Murdoch's daughter Grace at a ceremony on the banks of the river Jordan.

The Broader Madhesi Front has withdrawn all its pre-announced protest
programmes, including the Tarai shutdown, following the dissolution of
the Constituent Assembly. After the prime minister announced CA
elections on Sunday midnight, BMF affiliates see no need to carry on
their agitation.
“As postponement of its revolution, the Front has formally withdrawn its protest programmes. Our agitation will take up another form and shape. The ongoing Tarai banda ends with this statement,” said Arjun Thapa, Central Committee member and Foreign Relations Department chief of Madhesi Janaadhikar Forum Nepal (MJF-N).
Thapa said that the country has taken a new direction and that their protest with erstwhile demands was irrelevant in the changed situation. However, he denied that it was the end of their movement.
Thapa said that the Front has procedural disagreements with the CA election announcement. “CA dissolution and announcement of fresh CA elections are unconstitutional. We have already objected to the way the prime minister did it.”
Another MJF-N lawmaker, Abhishek Pratap Shah, said the Front will soon discuss its future course of actions. He stressed the need for greater confidence among political parties to resolve conflicting issues. “We must go for a referendum if this is what the people want. But we should resolve all the issues at any cost. Political parties can't help but trust each other.”
The Front, an alliance of CA members from the Tarai-Madhes region, had been agitating against the proposed 11-state federal model.

The idea of fresh elections could 'polarise' the Nepali polity and
'crisis may further deepen,' Nepal watchers here have cautioned. Some of
them even went on to say that it will be better to hold the elections
for a new parliament rather than electing a new Constituent Assembly
(CA).
"In the past, the CA also had the legislative role. After the elections to a new parliament, it can also act as the CA if needed," argued Shiv Shankar Mukherjee, the former Indian ambassador to Nepal.
The editor of Indian daily The Hindu, Siddhartha Varadrajan, said the decision to go to the polls will further polarise Nepal's domestic politics. "On one side, going to fresh elections or clamping emergency will have the danger of losing the political gains Nepal has achieved over few years," said Varadrajan. "On the other hand, the possibility of parties like Nepali Congress and CPN-UML not participating in the elections is high as they seem to be losing their support among voters."
Another Indian expert on Nepal issues Ashok Mehta, a retired Major General of the Indian Army, however, still sees room for revival of the CA and extending its tenure with consensus among political parties.
"The President is yet to accept the Prime Minister's proposal of fresh polls. I think, given the past experiences, the President can revive the CA and extend its tenure by three or six months, clamping emergency," said Mehta.
"Most of the issues have already been resolved by the dissolved CA. So, it is not a good idea to elect a new CA because the political process may go back to the pre-2008 period," he added.
Regarding New Delhi's 'role' in Nepali polity, almost all the experts and former diplomats share the thought that India was keen to see the promulgation of a federal constitution by May 27.
"India has been stressing that Nepal's transition to democracy, stability and prosperity must be Nepali-led and Nepali-driven,” said Mukherjee. “As a close neighbour and good friend, India was very keen to see the constitution being promulgated within the stipulated time.
"But the completion of the whole political process is not an easy job and everything could not happen overnight. I am still optimistic that political forces in Nepal will be able to agree sooner rather than later on a reasonable and acceptable constitution to all Nepalis."

आफूहरु परिवर्तनको संवाहक भएकाले दुई तिहाई मत दिनुपर्यो भनेर चुनावमा जानुको विकल्प नभएकाले निर्वाचन घोषणा गरेको पनि उनले बताए। उनले आफूले नै बाहुन क्षेत्रीलाई अन्यबाट झिकेर आर्य खस नामाकरण गर्नुपर्छ भन्ने प्रस्ताव राखेको दाबी पनि गरे।
संविधान सभाका लागि भएको खर्च बालुवामा पानी हालेको हैन भन्दै उनले यसबाट धेरै अभ्यास भएको र धेरै सिकिएको बताए। विशेष समितिले पनि धेरै काम गरेको बताउँदै उनले भने- चार चार पटक पनि संविधान सभा चुनाव हुन सक्छ, यो कुनै ठूलो कुरा हैन। भोलि संविधान बनाउन अहिलेको उपलब्धि निकै ठूलो आधार बन्न सक्ने भनाई पनि उनको थियो।

प्रगतिशील तथा पेसागत कानुन व्यवसायी संगठनले निर्वाचन घोषणा गर्ने
प्रधानमन्त्रीको कदम असंवैधानिक भएको निष्कर्ष निकालेको छ । निर्वाचनका
लागि राजनीतिक सहमतिको सरकार गठनको विकल्प नभएको उसको ठहर छ ।
'संविधानसभाको समयावधि छँदै अन्तरिम संविधान संशोधन गर्ने र जननिर्वाचित
निकायलाई जानकारी गराउने कामसमेत नगरी संविधानसभा भंग गर्ने
प्रधानमन्त्रीको असंवैधानिक कदमको भत्र्सना गर्दछौँ,' संगठनका महासचिव हरि
फुयालले सोमबार जारी गरेको विज्ञप्तिमा भनेका छन्, 'प्रधानमन्त्रीले
संविधानसभाको विघटन हुनुअघि नै उसलाई विश्वस्त पार्नुपथ्र्यो ।'

The Samyukta Loktantrik Madhesi Morcha (SLMM), an alliance of five
Madhes based parties that had been rooting for a constitution with
federalism that guarantees identity, continued to bargain hard for the
Constituent Assembly (CA) to deliver such a statute.
On Sunday, the final day of the CA tenure, the Morcha was engaged in intense negotiations with the UCPN (Maoist), the Nepali Congress, and the CPN-UML.
The Morcha has been demanding two states in the Madhes, while it wanted the country be federated on the basis of either a report of the majority members of the State Restructuring Commission (SRC) that had called for 10 states or the recommendation of the CA thematic committee on state restructuring that had recommended 14 states. Both the reports have suggested two states for the Madhes.
“We have been saying that state restructuring must be based on the report of the SRC or the CA committee. But the Nepali Congress and the UML don’t agree to it,” said Sadhbhawana Party Chairman Rajendra Mahato. He said the NC-floated 13-state model that had divided the Madhes into five provinces was not acceptable to them.
To press for their demands, the Morcha forged an alliance with other marginalised groups including the janajatis, Muslims and Dalits.
Analyst Dipendra Jha said that while Morcha will be a “part of the failure to deliver the statute on time,” it will “catch the popular sentiment by projecting the NC and the UML as those that opposed federalism despite the Morcha’s repeated attempts.”
Jha added that since the next elections will be fought along the lines of federalism, the Morcha is likely to gain more support.
It is interesting to note that the Morcha formed in November 2008—then termed the Samyukta Madhesi Morcha—at the initiation of Rajendra Mahato was an alliance that would challenge the “unequal relations with Kathmandu”.
“The Morcha was formed to counter the perceived unequal relations with Kathmandu,” says political analyst Chandrakishore.
“The Morcha will probably emerge strong in the next elections as it is currently in alliance with janajati, Muslim and Dalit groups,” he said, echoing Jha.

Addressing the meet, BMF leaders demanded timely constitution with federalism. Banda enforcers also took out a baton rally in Nawalparasi. Market-places in the district headquarters Parasi were shut while vehicular movement was obstructed. A banda enforced by the BMF in Kapilvastu for the past 18 days caused a shortage of daily essentials while businesses in Taulihawa, Krishnanagar, Chandrauta and Bahadurgunj remained closed. Main marketplaces were closed while transportation came to a halt in Bara as well.
Janakpur also saw no respite from a banda called by the BMF for the past 10 days, demanding a single state in the Madhes.

The Nepali Congress, the CPN-UML and some fringe parties on Sunday
termed Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai’s decision to hold fresh
elections as an “unconstitutional move”.
Top leaders of the parties have knocked the doors of President Ram Baran Yadav. They said the PM declared the date for fresh CA elections without political consensus instead of promulgating a constitution within the deadline. The parties said the PM made the announcement to keep his government going.
After informing the President of the PM’s midnight decision, the parties said they will challenge the decision on both the constitutional and political fronts.
Top leaders of the NC, the UML, Madhesi Janaadhikar Forum Nepal, Madhesi Janaadhikar Forum Loktantrik and the Rastriya Prajatantra Party jointly drew the attention of the President to the PM’s decision. They said the President must take immediate steps as the guardian of the constitution against the “illegal” move. “One who is not a member of the parliament cannot hold the post of the prime minister. He is unconstitutional and now there is no alternative to a national unity government,” said NC Parliamentary Party leader Ram Chandra Poudel.
UML Chairman Jhala Nath Khanal said the PM committed a “serious crime” by declaring elections without amendments to the electoral laws and without consensus among the political parties.
“The prime minister, the one who is not a member of the parliament declared the elections to drag the country towards constitutional void with a bad intention,” Khanal said, emerging from a meeting with the president.
A joint statement issued after the meeting said the “authoritarian” act of the PM led to the dissolution of the CA. They have demanded the PM resign immediately. According to the leaders involved in the meeting, the president assured them that he would look into the matter.

The Cabinet has decided to go for fresh people's mandate despite the
reservations from the ministers of CPN-UML and fringe parties.
In a Cabinet meeting held at Singha Durbar on Sunday night, Prime

in November. However, the ministers representing the CPN-UML and other
fringe parties refused the proposal outright.
Deputy Prime Minister and UML leader Ishwor Pokhrel walked out of the meeting after the prime minister put forth the proposal for holding CA elections on November 22.
An emergency Cabinet meeting was convened after several rounds of negotations between the top brass leaders of major political parties failed to sort out the major contentious issues of constitution.
According to a source close to Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai, the government is preparing is to announce fresh elections.

Minister Baburam Bhattarai proposed fresh Constituent Assembly elections
in November. However, the ministers representing the CPN-UML and other
fringe parties refused the proposal outright. Deputy Prime Minister and UML leader Ishwor Pokhrel walked out of the meeting after the prime minister put forth the proposal for holding CA elections on November 22.
An emergency Cabinet meeting was convened after several rounds of negotations between the top brass leaders of major political parties failed to sort out the major contentious issues of constitution.
According to a source close to Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai, the government is preparing is to announce fresh elections.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Bhattarai is scheduled to address the nation at 11:45 after informing the President about the same Cabinet decision

गुण नै हो । सभासदहरुले आफ्नो मूल कर्तव्य बेलैमा पूरा गरेर जतिसुकै
मोजमस्ती गरेका भए पनि आम सरोकारको विषय बन्दैनथ्यो होला । मधेसी
मोर्चासहितका चार ठूला दलका नेताहरुले संविधानसभालाई बेकम्मा बनाउादा समेत
मूकदर्शक बनिरहने संविधानसभा भित्रका केही सभासदहरु मोजमस्तीमा यति व्यस्त
रहे कि उनीहरुलाई संविधानसभाको मुल मुद्दा र आफ्नो कर्तव्यका बारेमा
जानकारी राख्ने र छलफलमा जुट्ने फुर्सद नै भएन ।
माओवादी सभासद नीरु दर्लामी यसको उदाहारण
हुन् । उनले दर्जन बढी पुरुष सभासदहरुसँग उनको ओछ्यान साझेदारी गर्नेसम्मको
हिमचिम रहेको कुरा माओवादी निकट व्यक्तिहरु नै बताउाँन् । ‘उनले त
महाभारतकालीन द्रौपदीलाई पनि माथ गरिन् ।’ स्रोत बताउाछ ।
दर्लामी त उदाहारण मात्रै हुन् । स्रोतका
अनुसार दर्लामीजस्ताहरु माओवादीमा दर्जन जति छन् । पुरुषहरुको संख्या त झनै
दुई दर्जन बढी छ । माओवादी नेतृत्वले जनयुद्धकालदेखि नै रोमान्सलाई छुट
दिएको र शान्ति प्रकृया सुरु भएदेखि नै सामुहिक बासलाई प्रोत्साहन गरेकाले
पनि उनीहरुमा बहुस्त्रीगामी वा बहुपुरुषगामी चरित्र झाँगिएको बताइन्छ ।
‘बिहे नगरी लिभिङ टु गेदरको रुपमा बस्नु र बेड पार्टनर फेरि रहनु उनीहरुका
लागि सामान्य कुरा भएको छ ।’ एकजना सभासद्ले भने, ‘पार्टीभित्र अन्तरविरोध
बढ्ने गुह्य कारण यो पनि हो ।’
६० वर्ष लामो सपना, दशौं अर्बको लगानी र हजारौंको रगतसँग साटिएको संविधानसभा आइतबार मध्यरात १२ बजे स्वत भंग भएको छ ।
यससँगै सरकारले दलहरुको असहमतिका बीच
आगामी मंसिर ७ गते संविधानसभाको अर्को चुनाव गर्ने घोषणा गरेको छ ।
कांग्रेस र एमालेले निर्वाचन गर्ने निर्णय स्वीकार्य नभएको बताएका छन् ।
मन्त्रिपरिषद्को आइतबार बसेको बैठकले
मंसिर ७ गते संविधानसभाको निर्वाचन गर्ने निर्णय गरेको छ । अप्रिय हुँदा
हुँदै पनि एक मात्र विकल्प भएकाले निर्वाचनमा जाने निर्णय गर्नु परेको
अर्थमन्त्री वर्षमान पुन अनन्तले जानकारी दिनुभयो । मन्त्रिपरिषद्को बैठक
लगतै प्रधानमन्त्रीले राष्ट्रपति डा. रामवरण यादवलाई निर्णयबारे जानकारी
गराउनु भएको छ ।

समाप्त भएपछि मंसिर ७ गते अर्को चुनावको घोषणा गरेका प्रधानमन्त्री
भट्टराईले कांग्रेस एमालेल लगायतका पुराना दलहरु २०४७ सालको
संविधानभन्दामाथि उठ्न नचाहेकाले सहमति हुन नसकेको बताउनु भयो । ‘पूराना
राजनीतिक दलहरुले अन्त्यमा आएर संघीयता स्वीकार नगर्दा संविधान निर्माण
गर्न सकेनौं’ बालुवाटारमा आयोजित पत्रकार सम्मेलनमा उहाँले
भन्नुभयो-’विषयगत समिति र आयोगको प्रतिवेदनलाई आधार बनाएर प्रक्रियामा जाउँ
भन्दा पनि उनीहरुले मानेनन् ।’
प्रक्रियामा पनि नजाने र सहमति पनि नगर्ने
कांग्रेस र एमालेका कारण संविधानसभा भंग भएको भन्दै उहाँले लोकतन्त्र,
धर्मनिरपेक्षता लगायतको संस्थागत गर्न अब हुने चुनावमा संघीयता पक्षधर
परिर्वतनकारी शक्तिहरुलाई दुई तिहाई मत दिन आग्रह गर्नुभयो ।
प्रधानमन्त्री भट्टराईले कार्यकारी अधिकार
आफ्नो नेतृत्वको मन्त्रिपरिषद्मा रहने भन्दे राष्ट्रपतिलाई त्यसलाई
स्वीकार गर्ने विश्वास व्यक्त गर्नुभयो । ‘असफलतालाई सफलतामा परिर्वतन
गर्नु नै विकासको परिचानयक हो’ उहाँले भन्नुभयो-’लोकतन्त्रको मुल मर्म
भनेको जनताको अभिमत प्राप्त गर्नुहो । त्यसैले यस पटकको संविधानसभाबाट
संविधान बन्न नसके पनि हामीले मंसिर ७ गते फेरि चुनावमा जाने निर्णय गरेका
छनैं ।’
उहाँले अब हुने चुनावमा संघीयता पक्षधर परिर्वतनकारी शक्तिहरुलाई प्रष्ट मत नदिएसम्म जनताको संविधान बन्न नसक्ने बताउनु भयो ।

The movie is produced by Yuvraj Khatri and directed by BB Phuyal and features Sovita Simkhada, Puskar Jung Thapa and Suresh Chaudhary in the leading roles. The censor board has granted adult certificate, not suitable for the viewers 16 years old or younger.
‘The Last Kiss’ has a suspense story. Movie starts with the death of a couple who had visited a forest for a romantic union. Another couple, Akash and Arya, went to the same forest to celebrate their first anniversary. A gang led by a character named Michael kills Akash but, their attempt to kill Arya was unsuccessful. The whole movie is about how Arya sought revenge from Michael and his gang. I don’t want to spoil the movie viewing experience by unveiling the real suspense of why Aakash was killed.
The movie is full of weakness and the only strength it has is the ‘A’ certificate. With its adult certificate, few vulgar dialogues and kiss scenes it might get some sex-starved audience. That is all in the movie!
The movie has got weakness in all other aspects. It seems, the producer and director were only focused on vulgar contents and neglected all other aspects of the movie. One can easily feel the effects of low investment on budget, low investment on effort, and intention of fooling audience by focusing on sex. Although the movie’s story was supposed to be a thriller and suspense there is nothing thrilling in it.
The camera work is not good. Dialogues are below average. The story is elongated unnecessarily and it more boring than binding. In the second half of the movie, background score is too loud and irritating. The characters seem disjointed and are very ineffective in expressing themselves. Very weak script and screenplay has made it very difficult to be remained seated for the entire movie.
Even if the movie has got an adult certificate, it alone won’t be a reason enough for the viewers to attract to the theaters as there is no glamour in the movie. There aren’t any intimate scenes either. A few vulgar scenes in the movie are already shown in the promo and there is nothing more to see in the movie. If you have already watched the promo, you have already watched the ‘adult’ aspect of the movie.

at the latter’s residence in Shital Niwas on Sunday morning.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Bhattarai informed President Yadav about the discussions held late night Saturday.
It has been reported that the president expressed his firm belief that the political parties will forge consensus in the disputed issues within tonight.
According to sources, the president also expressed his concern about the future of the Constituent Assembly and problems that may surface in the coming days.
In response, PM Bhattarai said maximum efforts have been made to forge consensus at the earliest and accused the Nepali Congress and the CPN-UML for the continuous failure.
Following the meeting with the president, PM Bhattarai left for Lazimpat to meet UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal.

अनुसार आइतबार मध्यरातिसम्म कुनै चामत्कारिक निर्णय नभए संविधानसभा विघटन
हुने पक्काजस्तै भइसकेको छ ।
मधेसी
मोर्चासहित प्रमुख चार दलबीच प्रधानमन्त्रीनिवास बालुवाटारमा राति भएको
छलफलमा पनि दलहरूले आ–आफ्नै अडान दोहोर्याए । दिउँसो भएको छलफलपछि
उपप्रधानमन्त्री तथा माओवादी उपाध्यक्ष नारायणकाजी श्रेष्ठले त मुलुक भयावह
संकटको बाटोतर्फ लागेको घोषणा नै गरे । ‘उस्तै परे अब संविधानसभाको
बैठकसमेत बस्न नसक्ने अवस्था आएको’ उनले पत्रकारलाई सुनाए ।
राति भएको छलफलमा माओवादी र मधेसी
मोर्चाले एकल जातीय पहिचानसहितका १० प्रदेश बनाइनुपर्ने अडान राखे ।
मोर्चाले तराईमा दुई प्रदेश बनाउन राखेको अडानलाई माओवादीले पनि पूर्ण
समर्थन जनायो । कांग्रेस–एमालेले भने एकल जातीय पहिचानका आधारमा राज्य
पुन:संरचना गर्न नसकिने पुरानै अडान दोहोर्याए । बालुवाटारबाट बाहिरिँदा
माओवादी र मोर्चाका नेताहरूले कांग्रेस–एमाले संविधानसभा विघटन गर्न
लागिपरेको आरोप लगाए । कांग्रेस र एमालेले माओवादी सत्ता कब्जा गर्ने

‘माओवादी र मोर्चाले एकल जातीय आधारमा
तराईमा दुईसहित १० प्रदेश बनाउन भने, हामी(एमाले र कांग्रेस)ले एकल जातीय
आधारमा कुनै पनि हालतमा प्रदेश बनाउन सकिँदैन भन्यौँ,’ बैठकपछि एमाले
अध्यक्ष झलनाथ खनालले सौर्यसँग भने । आइतबार बिहान पुन: बैठक बस्ने उनले
बताए ।
स्रोतका अनुसार बैठकमा माओवादी र मोर्चाका
नेताहरूले उच्चस्तरीय राज्य पुन:संरचना आयोगको १० प्रदेशको प्रस्तावमा
सहमति हुन नसके संविधानसभाको विषयगत समितिले तयार गरेको १४ प्रदेशको
प्रस्तावमा जान सकिने जनाएका थिए । तर, उनीहरू एकल जातीय पहिचानका आधारमा
पुन:संरचना गर्नुपर्ने अडानमा भने कायमै रहे, जसलाई कांग्रेस–एमालेले ठाडै
अस्वीकार गरे ।
सीमा सुरक्षाका लागि खटिएका भारतीय सीमा
सुरक्षा बल एसएसपीको ज्यादतीलाई प्रतिकार गर्दा नेपालीलाई समेत भारत
प्रवेशमा रोक लगाएका छन् । शुक्रबार साँझ भारतीय बजार बैरगनियामा युवतिलाई
दुरव्यवहार गरेको विरोधमा स्थानियबासी एसएसवीको प्रतिकारमा उत्रिएका थिए ।
स्थायिनवासीले चारै तिरबाट क्याम घेरा गरि
प्रदर्शन गर्दा एसएसबीले चलाएको गोली लागि एक भारतीय नागरिकको ज्यान समेत
गएको खबर आजको सौर्य दैनिकले छापेको छ । स्थानियले चारै तिरबाट घेरेर
ढुंगामुढा प्रहार गर्दा उनीहरुले प्रतिकार स्वरुप ५ सय राउण्ड गोली हानेका
थिए ।
स्थानिय प्रशासनको आदेशलाई समेत नटेरी
स्थानियबासी माथि ज्यादति बढाउको भन्दै एसएसबीलाई हटाउन माग गदै
स्थानियबासीले आन्दोलन गरेका थिए । भारतीय क्षेत्रमा तनाव बढेपछि शनिबार
रौतहटको मुख्य नाका गौर भन्सारमा पनि नेपाल प्रहरी तथा सशस्त्र प्रहरी बलको
उपस्थिति बाक्लो बनाईएको थियो । सुरक्षा सतर्कताका लागि भन्दै
सुरक्षाकर्मीहरुले नेपालीलाई भारत जान पनि रोक लगाएका थिए ।
संविधानसभाको कार्यकाल सकिएपछिको सम्भावित
खतरालाई मध्यनजर गरी नेपाली सेना तयारी अवस्थामा बसेको छ । सैनिक
मुख्यालयको निर्देशनमा मुलुकभरका सैन्य निकाय तैनाथ भएका हुन् ।

सम्भावित खतराको मध्यनजर गर्दै खतराको संकेत सहित पत्राचार गरी मातहतका
निकायलाई तयारी रहन निर्देशन दिएको थियो ।

समाल्नुपर्छ भनेर तयारी अवस्थामा बसेको बताएका छन् ।
सोही कारण सहितको पत्र सम्पूर्ण सैन्य इलाकामा पठाई सकेको उपत्यका बाहिरका एक पृतनापतिले बताएको खबर आजको राजधानी दैनिकले छापेको छ ।
पछिल्लो समयमा विभिन्न जातीय संगठनहरुले
आफनो माग राखेर बन्द हड्ताल गर्नुका साथै आफुखसी प्रदेश घोषणा गर्ने होडलाई
सेनाले गम्भिर रुपमा लिएको स्रोतको भनाई छ । सोही आधारलाई विश्लेषण गरी
सम्भावित दुर्घटना रोक्न सेना तयारी अवस्थामा बसेको सैनिक अधिकारीहरुले
बताएका छन् ।
दलहरुबीच सहमति नभए पनि संधिवानसभा
सचिवालयले ३६ भाग र ३ सय ११ धारा बनाई नयाँ संविधानको प्रारम्भिक
मस्यौदालाई अन्तिम रुप दिएको छ । दलहरुबीच सहमति भएको सबै विषयलाई समेटेर
सचिवालयको टोलीले शनिबार राती प्रारम्भिक मस्यौदा तयार पारेको छ ।
संविधान जारी गर्ने दिन आज आईसक्दा पनि
विवादित विषयममा दलहरुबीच सहमति हुन नसक्दा पनि सचिवालयको टोलीले आफ्नो काम
पुरा गरी दलहरुले चाहेमा संविधान जारी हुन सक्ने अवस्था तयार पारेको
स्रोतले बताएका छ ।
राजनीतिक दलहरुबीच भएको सहमतिलाई आधार
मानी तयार गरिएको संविधानको मस्यौदामा संघीष्ताका विषयमध्येमा प्रदेशको
संख्या, सीमांकन र नामांकन उल्लेख गरिएको छैन् ।
पहिलो स्थानमा प्रस्तावना राखी नेपालको
संविधानको मस्यौदा नाम दिईएको छ । मस्यौदा १ सय ३८ पृष्ठको रहेको छ ।
दलहरुबीच सहमति भई मस्यौदालाई संवैधानिक समितिले विधेयकको रुपमा संविधानसभा
सचिवालयमा दर्ता गरी संविधानसभा बैठकमा टेवल गरेपछि निर्णयार्थ प्रस्तुत
गरी दुई तिहाईले पारित भएमा संविधान जारी हुनेछ ।
भाग १ मा प्रारम्भिक परिच्छेद, भाग २ मा
नागरिकता, भाग ३ मा मौलिक हक, कर्तव्य, भाग ४ मा नीति निर्देशक सिद्धान्त,
भाग ५ मा राज्यको स्वरुप र राज्य शक्तिको बाँडफाँड, भाग ६ मा संघीय
कार्यपालीका, भाग ७ मा प्रादेशिक कार्यपालीका, भाग ८ मा स्थानिय
कार्यपालीका र भाग ९ मा संघीय व्यवस्थापिकाको काम, कतव्य र अधिकार लगायत ३६
भाग तोकिएको छ भने अन्यमा अनुसुचि राखिएको छ ।
काठमाण्डौका १६ र बाहिरका ५ गरी २१ वटा
हलमा चलिरहेको चलचित्र ‘द लास्ट किस’ विरुद्ध यही सिनेमाको मुख्य नायिका

पनि वास्तविक नै खिचिएको भनाई निर्देशक केसीले राखेका छन् । २ वटा गीत
वाहेक अन्य सम्पूर्ण छायांकन सकिएको यो सिनेमाको सम्पादन पनि सकिएको छ ।
चलचित्रमा विहेदेखि घृणा गर्ने तर
सेक्सलाई शरीरको आवश्यकता मान्ने केटा र अनाथ केटीबीचको कथालाई समेटीएको छ ।
डर्टी लभमा यी दुई कलाकारका अलवा दिनेश दुलाल, सुष्मा सिं, तारा केसी,
श्याम श्रेष्ठ, ज्ञानु लामा लगायतका कलाकारको अभिनय रहेको छ । चलचित्र
डर्टी लभमा एउटा आईटम गीत समेत रहेको छ ।
छायांकन नभएको यो गीतलाई निक्कै हट बनाउने
सोचाई निर्माण पक्षले राखेको छ । चलचित्रलाई वास्तविक बनाउने नाममा अहिले
चुम्वन र वेड सिने जस्ता दृश्यलाई पनि खुलेरै खिच्न थालिएको छ ।
संविधान वरिपरि सयौंको सङ्ख्यामा प्रहरी परिचालन गरिएको छ। नयाँ बानेश्वरको शान्तिनगर क्षेत्रमा ताम्सालिङ समुदायले धर्ना दिएका छन् भने बुद्धनगर क्षत्रेमा तमुवानले धर्ना दिइरहेका छन्। त्यस्तै शङ्खमूल जाने बाटोमा थारु तथा किराती समुदायले धर्ना दिइरहेका छन्।
धर्ना बसेकाहरुले सरकार र जनजाति महासङ्घबीच भएको ९ बुँदे सहमति कार्यन्वयन गर्नुपर्ने मुख्य नारा लगाइरहेका छन्। त्यस्तै 'भ्रष्टाचारीलाई फाँसी दे', 'जातीय पहिचानसहितको सङ्घीयता कायम गर', जातीय सङ्घीयताबिनाको संविधान मान्दैनौं' लगतयका नारा लगाइरहेका छन्।
थारु सङ्घर्ष समितिका अध्यक्ष चन्द्रकुमार चौधरीले अबको संविधानमा थारुको पहिचानसहितको राज्य हुनुपर्ने अडान राखेका छन्। नागरिकन्युजले तपाईंहरुको माग पूरा नभए के गर्नुहुन्छ भन्ने जिज्ञासा राख्दा उनले भने- थारु पहिचानसहितको संविधान नभए हामीले त्यो संविधान मान्दैनौं र हामीले त्यस्तो संविधान जलाउने छौं।
त्यस्तै किरात सङ्घर्ष समितिका अध्यक्षले आफूहरुले नाजायज माग नराखेको र माग कुनै पनि हालतमा पूरा गर्नुपर्ने अडान राखेका छन्। अबको नयाँ संविधानमा जातीय पहिचानसहितको संविधान नल्याए सशक्तरुपमा आन्दोलन चर्काउने उनले बताए।
संविधानसभाको बैठक सूचना टाँसेर ५ बजेसम्मका लागि स्थागित गरिएको छ ।
संविधानसभा जारी हुनुपर्ने समय डेढ दिनमात्र बाँकी रहँदा पनि संविधानसभाको
बैठक बस्न सकेको छैन ।

At least 30 people have been killed after clashes erupted between Dogon farmers and nomadic Fulani herders along the Mali-Burkina Faso border, Burkina authorities said late on Thursday.
The fighting, which began on Tuesday, took place near Sari, a Malian town about 15 km (9 miles) from the border with Burkina Faso, Khalil Bara, governor of Burkina Faso's northern region, said on state radio.
Bara said the dispute originated from an agreement between the two west
African nations, which allows Burkina herders to take their livestock
to camps in Mali where there was available pasture land.
During the rule of former Malian president Amadou Toumani Toure,
Fulani herders were allowed into Mali through special corridors.
However, Mali has descended into chaos since a March 22 military coup
ousted Toure and left over half of the country occupied my Tuareg rebels
and Islamist militants.
"The Dogons, who have always opposed the opening of these corridors,
taking advantage of the crisis in Mali, have decided to solve the
problem by attacking Fulani settlements," Bara said, adding that most of
the deaths were Fulanis.
The governor said over 1,000 people, mostly herders, have fled back into villages in Burkina Faso.
The Malian government was not immediately available for comment.

He has often played younger brother in Rajshree Productions. Now it's time for Salman Khan to play the Elder brother. Thanks to his favorite director Sooraj Barjatiya, who is returning to direction after Vivaah (2006).
The filmmaker, in the past, announced that his next will be with Salman Khan. We heard Suraj is ready with the script and plans to start the film early next year. According to an industry source, the film will be a family drama high on relationships between two brothers. It has been titled as Bade Bhaiya and the title role will be played by Salman Khan.
The source also confirms that Suraj wants to cast Arjun Kapoor for younger brother's role. Suraj is yet to finalize the rest of the star cast. It is believed that Salman Khan will finish Dabangg 2 and Ek Tha Tiger by October and will go for the treatment of his nerve problem. And to accommodate Sooraj Barjatya's film, Salman has postponed Sajid Nadiadwala's Kick which was to roll early next year.
But Sanjay, the man seemingly in the centre of the controversy - his recent comment, "Hits and flops are a part of the industry. But I really don't know if I shall work with Ramu again," allegedly sparked off the war of words - prefers to maintain a cool stance now. "I'm not involved in any controversy," he stresses, adding, "I have nothing to do with all of this. I wish Ramu good luck for all his future works. That's all I want to say."
Controversies apart, the actor is in a mood to talk. Saying that personally he is in a "happy space", Dutt explains, "I am at complete peace with myself. Now, I go back home as soon as I finish my work and I want to spend the maximum time with my kids. I missed out on Trishala's growing up, this time I don't want to miss a thing."
High on Action Not just his personal life, Dutt says his professional life is rocking, too. "Itna kaam toh pehle kabhi bhi nahi kiya tha," he informs. And with a list that includes "Son Of Sardar", "Zilla Ghaziabad", "Alert 24x7", "Hum Hain Raahi Car Ke" and "Student Of The Year", among nearly a dozen films that he is a part of, we believe him. by way of information, he adds, "I'm keeping my fingers crossed for my films "Zilla Ghaziabad" and " Son Of Sardar". I am also looking forward to the Munnabhai series which should hopefully start by the end of this year, although Vidhu Vinod Chopra is not making "Munnabhai In Amrika'.
But not just the numbers, what is exciting for Dutt is the sheer variety of roles he is being offered. "I'm getting to play so many different characters in various genres. What else would an actor want? I have seen several ups and downs... mostly downs, in my career but now it's becoming more stable. So much has happened in my life, both good and bad, that I can draw upon my experiences and play any character," says the 52-year-old who's spent more than three decades in the film industry.
In fact, Dutt says he is all for action films. "People had gotten bored of mushy romances. They wanted a change that would make them sit up and that's why action films are becoming hits. I'm all for action films," he says.
In explanation, Dutt offers an interesting theory: "Actors achieve stardom because of action. To an audience, they are larger than life. Down South, actors like Rajanisa'ab (Rajinikanth) and Surya are worshipped like Gods because of their action sequences. People see them as heroes who are annihilating evil. So, it's no wonder that action films are becoming blockbusters now. Also, the genre suits me. I can't romance young heroines and run around trees now. It's not my age, that's for the younger heroes. I began my career with action and that's what I'm doing now too."

बेलायतमा गरिएको अध्ययन अनुसार यस्ता दम्पतिहरुको संख्या बढ्दै गएको छ जसले फेसबुकमार्फत आफ्नो जिवनसाथीको व्यवहारको आलोचना गर्छन् जुन अन्ततः सम्बन्धविच्छेदमा गएर टुंगिन्छ ।
बेलायतको कानुनी संस्ा डिभोर्स अनलाइनको सर्भे अनुसार अघिल्लो वर्ष सम्बन्धविच्छेदका मामिलामध्ये ३३ प्रतिशत सम्बन्ध विच्छेदमा फेसबुकको हात रहेको पाइयो । जबकी सन् २००९ मा सम्बन्ध विच्छेदमा फेसबुकको हात २० प्रतिशत मात्र थियो ।
डिभोर्स अनलाइनका प्रवक्ता मार्क किननका अनुसार यदि कोइ व्यक्ति आफ्नो विपरित लिंगीसँग प्रेम सम्बन्ध बनाउन चाहन्छ वा हँसीमजाक गर्न चाहन्छ भनेपनि उसका लागि फेसबुकको प्रयोग सबैभन्दा सजिलो तरिका हो ।
झण्डै ५ हजार सम्बन्धविच्छेदका मामिलाको अध्ययनबाट पाइएको नतिजा अनुसार सम्बन्ध विच्छेदका लागि फेसबुकमा गरिएका टिप्पणी तथा पोष्ट गरिएका तस्वीरहरु समेत सबुतका लागि पेश हुने गरेका छन् । पती वा पत्नीमाथि दोषारोपणका टिप्पणी, परस्त्रीगमन तथा परपुरुषसँगको सम्बन्ध लगायतका दृश्यका तस्वीरहरु फेसबुकमा पोष्ट गरेर त्यसलाई अदालतमा सबुतका रुपमा पेश गर्ने चलन बढेको किनन बताउँछन् । त्यस्तै अदालतले पनि फेसबुकका सामाग्रीहरुलाई सबुतका रुपमा स्विकार गर्ने गरेको छ । सम्बन्ध विच्छेद भैसकेका दम्पतीले समेत फेसबुकमार्फत एक अर्कालाई गालीगलौज गर्ने र भद्दा शव्दको प्रयोग गरेर दोषारोपण गर्ने गरेका छन् ।
डिभोर्सको कुरा गरेर केही दिन यता
मिडियामा चर्चामा आएका यि दुई जोडिवीच वोलचाल नै नभएको १० महिना भएको थियो ।
तर मंगलवार पहिलो पटक यि दुईवीच पहिलो पटक वोलचाल भएको थियो ।
वोलचाल भएपछि रेखा र छवि दुवै दङ्ग र मख्ख पनि थिए । उनीहरुले सहमति
भएपछि डिभोर्स र सँगै वस्ने भन्ने कुरा आधा आधा रहेको वताएका थिए । तर,
रमाईलो कुरा के छ भने, १० महिना पछि वल्ल वल्ल वोलेका रेखा र छविलाई यो
खुशि साट्ने हतार निक्कै भएको देखिन्छ । उनीहरु, निक्कै खुशि भए र यो खुशि
आफु आफुमा मात्र साट्न चाहेनन् । यसैले पनि होला, वोलेको दिनमै अरु कुरा
गर्न छोडेर वियर फोड्न निस्किए । त्यो पनि दुई जना मात्र होईन, आफ्ना
नजिकका भनिएका साथीहरु समेत लिएर । काठमाण्डौको वानेश्वरमा रहेको एक
क्याफेमा यि दुईले वियर को पार्टी दिएका थिए । निर्माता छविराज ओझा निक्कै
खुशि देखिए भने नायिका थापाको खुशिको पनि सिमा थिएन । यि दुईको जोडि छुट्छ
या सँगै हुन्छ भन्ने अझै टुङ्गो छैन, तर १० महिना नवोलेका यिनका लागि
वोलचाल हुनु नै निक्कै ठुलो कुरा भएको थियो ।
यि दुईको पार्टीमा रेखा निकट मानिएकी निशा सुनुवार, निर्देशक सविर श्रेष्ठ, शोभित वस्नेत, नृत्य निर्देशक शंकर विसी, रेखा निकट मानिएका ध्रुव न्यौपाने सहभागी भएका थिए । रेखा र छविले आफुहरुवीच वोलचाल भएको भन्दै खुशि मनाउन वियर फोरेका थिए । पार्टीमा छवि निक्कै खुशि देखिएका थिए । रेखा पनि छविसँग फेरी वोल्न पाउदा हषिर्त देखिएकी थिईन् । छवि र रेखा निकट श्रोत भन्छ, यि दुईवीच डिभोर्स हुँदैन । सामान्य मनमुटाव भएपनि यि दुईले अरुको कुरा धेरै सुन्दा समस्या आएको श्रोतको भनाई छ । यसरी, कुनै वेला पानी वारावार गरेका रेखा छवि अहिले वियर सारासार गरीरहेका छन् । रेखा र छविको यो खुशि सधैभरी चलिरहोस हाम्रो शुभकामना दुबैलाई .............

सर्वोच्च अदालतले संविधानसभाको म्याद थपका लागि सरकारले दर्ता गरेको
विद्येयकमाथि कारबाही अगाडि नबढाउन सरकारको नाममा अन्तरिम आदेश दिएको छ ।
संविधानसभाको म्याद तीन महिना थप गर्ने सरकारी निर्णयविरुद्ध सर्वोच्च अदालतमा बुधबार दायर रिट तथा अबहेलना मुद्दामा सर्वोच्च अदालतले पुरानै निर्णय कायम गरेको हो । प्रधानन्यायाधीश खिलराज रेग्मीको इजलासले यसअघि सर्वोच्च अदालतले आदेश नै जारी नगरेजस्तो गरी सरकारले विद्येयक पेश गरेको देखिएको भन्दै जेठ १४ गतेभित्रै संविधान जारी गर्न आदेश दिएको छ ।
'विगतको फैसलाले स्पष्ट बोलेको छ, संविधानसभाको कार्यकाल थप हुन सक्दैन,' सर्वोच्चका सह प्रवक्ता हेमन्त रावलले भने, 'संविधान जारी हुन सकेन भने जनमत संग्रहलगायतका अरु विकल्प अबलम्बन गर्नु भनिसकेको अवस्थामा संविधान जारी गर्नुलगायत विकल्प अबलम्बन नगरी अदालतबाट अरु फैसला नै नभएकोजस्तो गरी जुन प्रस्ताव ल्याइयो यो संविधानको, विगतको फैसलाको प्रतिकुल छ ।'
फैसलाले स्पष्टरुपमा सरकारले दर्ता गरेको विद्येयकमाथि कारबाही अगाडि नबढाउन आदेश दिएको उनले बताए । 'कुनै विकल्पको खोजी नगरीकन संविधानसभाको कार्यकाल थप हुन सक्दैन भन्ने सर्वोच्चको फैसला हो,' उनले भने ।
विवादित विषयमा सहमति नभएको भन्दै प्रधानमन्त्री बाबुराम भट्टराईले सत्तारुढ कांग्रेस-एमालेलाईसमेत विश्वासमा नलिई संविधान संशोधन विद्येयक दर्ता गराएका थिए । सर्वोच्चको ताजा फैसलाले तीन दिनभित्रै संविधान जारी गर्न सरकार तथा दलहरुलाई दबाब परेको छ ।
म्याद थपका लागि संविधान संशोधन विद्येयक दर्ता गरेको भोलिपल्ट कानुन व्यवसायी कन्चन कृष्ण न्यौपाने, कानुन व्यवसायीहरु भरतमणि जंगम र बालकृष्ण न्यौपाने तथा कानुन व्यवसायी राजकुमार राना, चन्द्रलाल श्रेष्ठ र जगदेव चौधरीले रिट दर्ता गराएका थिए । रिटमा म्याद थप अन्तरिम संविधानको धारा ११६ विपरीत तथा सर्वोच्च अदालतको फैसलाविरुद्ध रहेको दाबी गरिएको थियो ।
जेठ १४ भित्र संविधान जारी गर्न नसकिएको भन्दै सरकारले तीन महिना म्याद थप्न अन्तरिम संविधान संशोधन विद्येयक दर्ता गरेको छ । म्याद थपबारे सत्तारुढ कांग्रेस, एमाले र माओवादीकै मोहन वैद्य समूह विपक्षमा छ ।
विद्येयकमाथि कारबाही अगाडि नबढाउन सरकारको नाममा अन्तरिम आदेश
