Nepal maintained their impressive run in the ongoing AFC U-14 Festival
of Football at ANFA Complex at Satdobato, Lalitpur on Tuesday as both
Nepali teams, Nepal ‘I’ and Nepal ‘II’ registered victories with a
convincing margin. In the first game Nepal ‘I’ defeated India ‘II’ 3- 1
while Nepal II thumped Sri Lanka ‘II’, 4-0. In other matches of the day,
India ‘I’ beat Bangladesh ‘I’, 2-1, Bhutan ‘I’ and Sri Lanka ‘I’ could
not be separated with a 2-2 scoreline and Bangladesh ‘II’ hammered
Bhutan ‘II’, 5-0.
